| A little about me: | I'm 37 with rapid cycling Bipolar II, ADHD & anxiety. I've had 10 jobs in 10yrs. I've been treated for the last 3yrs. Was rehospitalized 5/5/08 for a week to adjust meds. I was diagonsed with BPD at 20 after a month in a psych hospital. When I was discharged I threw out my meds, rejected the diagnosis, dropped out of college, drove to NYC alone to study acting.(I packed my car to the brim & with only $75 I drove to an agency who placed au pairs -my only contact in the city- & got a job in Manhattan taking care of twins- manic, maybe??) I've been with my wonderful husband for 15yrs. I have a 14yr-old sassy, underacheiving, caring daughter & an 11yr-old son w/ADHD who is smart, full of energy & just as much empathy. I worry about him developing Bipolar too... I need 5 CLEPs to (finally) get my BS in Applied Psych & start my Master's program in counseling. I start more than I can finish, forget everything and am the most inconsistent person I know. |
