You know, the more I read, the more I'm convinced of the remitting/relapsing nature of this disease...which is one of the types/phases of Multiple Sclerosis as well.

The spirochete form is most effectively treated with penicillins and cephalosporins. The L-form appears to respond to tetracyclines (doxycycline and minocycline) and macrolides (clarithromycin, azithromycin and telithromycin). The cystic form seems to respond to Flagyl, Plaquinel, Tindamax, Fasigyn and Alinia (anti-protozoals).
