| A little about me: | I am a mother of two adult children one that struggles w/ bipolar disorder. I have 4 grandchildren, one grd child struggles w/ bipolar also. The children and their mother are living w/me now, we are all trying to adjust to life under one roof,while trying to build a stable enviorment for the children. I work full time, leaving very little free time . Trying to maintain a balance in life is much easier said than done. I have been reading about the symptons and effects of bipolar disorder for years now. I am a strong advocate of support groups . Somehow knowing that there are others that understand without explanation; the issues you struggle with on a daily basis helps give you that like extra support you need at times to make sense of everything going on around you. I am hoping; by joining this support group I will be better able to understand the struggles my daughter faces; and that I will be able to incorporate some of the many helpful suggestions others may have that have helped them find balance while living with bi polar disorder. |
