| A little about me: | I am a 39 y/o stay-at-home mom (music teacher by trade) and I'm married to my childhood sweetheart who suffers from bipolar disorder. I joined this group because I'm in desperate need of outside support. I love to cook/bake, read, crafts, sew, Japanese book binding. I've been teaching music theory/piano/voice for almost 15 years. I've taught elementary and high school. I've gone back to college to get my education in child psychology/music therapy. We love the outdoors, fishing, camping, and traveling when we can. I use humor to help me through the tough times. It's a trait that I inherited from my Dad. My mother had problems with severe depression and OCD, but never seeked help and never admitted she had a problem. So, I guess I really look up to my Dad because he stayed with her for 35 years, loving her and supporting her, no matter what. We have 3 boys; 16 yrs old, 11 yrs old, and 8 yrs old... and 2 girls; 2 yrs old and one due March 22, 2010. One thing is for sure: Life is NOT dull.... even though I wouldn't mind dull every now and then. |
