| A little about me: | I am 30yrs old that was recently diagnosed with UCTD, but is being sent to other doctors because they believe I have Lupus. I have symptoms of Lupus and my ANA is EXTREMLY high. One of the symptoms being the continous fever for months. I am just recently recovering from a a pariacardal window where they drained 4 liters of fluid from my heart, they also drained a liter of fluid off each lung. The emergency surgeries were three weeks ago. They put me on a prednisone taper, beta blocker because of my heart rate, plus of course the Iron for the anemia. I know I have a long road ahead of me, but when I came to this site I began to cry. It just helps that there are people out there who I understand what I am going through. I take great comfort in that! I look forward to getting know you! I am still not fixing my spelling mistakes sbovr sng below...just reminds me how far I have come! I don't have the brain fog as much anymore (crosses fingers) Here is a just a lil bout me : I love to laugh and giggle, and I think that has helped in this because as "YOU" know dealing with the doctors and all the "unknown" can make ya CRAZY! well, as well as, the prednisone and all the other meds. So, as of late being totally stuck in the house I have been watching silly youtube videos to pass the time. If ya have in funny videos or silly things in general send em my way :) I am an avid Robin Thicke fan (Alan Thicke), I had a blog where other fans got together to chat about him and recent concerts. I had to give that up for awhile do to all this, but I hope to get things back rollin soon. I have resorted to wearing stretchy pants and tshirts from Steve and Barry's everyday, and I am totally cool with that! God got me through this part for a reason, and I am ready to find that reason and....go with it! This is just the condensed soup version of my story and about me, hope to tell ya the rest soon~ I went to my new doctor last March and I do have Lupus...not uctd. Though, as I know with Lupus it is common to have other auto immune diseases with Lupus The doctor I had gone to locally had no idea what he was talking about lol Come to find out later, there were many people that had the same experiences I had. I have a great doctor in St. Louis now, that I speak to personally on a regular basis. I am very blessed to have found such a great doctor. |
