| A little about me: | I'm 29. I'm a docket manager and assistant to the managing partner of a law firm. I love to read. I love music. I enjoy going to the movies. I guess I basically like things that help me escape reality. That's not all bad, as my job is very stressful and occasional escape is necessary. I was diagnosed with bi-polar II last spring. I hated it, yet felt relieved. I was embarassed, but at least I had an explanation for the elated "ups" and extrordinarily painful "downs" I have experienced since I was 13, and an explanation for the odd behavior and poor judgment I've exhibited along the way. Now I want to learn from and interact with people who are going through the same thing I am. |
