A little about me:	I'm a thirty-two year old mother of three. I have lupus, fibromyalgia, Sjorgen's, high blood pressure, history of blood clots, migranes and acid reflux disease. I also suffer from bouts of depression and anxiety. It took my doctors more than eight years to diagnose me. I just want to meet people that know where I'm coming from.

hello,i know exactly where you are coming from i have all of your problems. the only thing i dont have is high blood pressure and clotting.
i do have sjorgens,gerd, migraines and fibromyalgia. also stuggle with anxiety and now getting very depressed.
i am 33 and a mother of 3 children also. sounds like we have a lot in common. i keep getting these really strange feelings like itching and biting almost like stinging sensations. did that ever happen to you? keeps coming and going for the last few months. also horribly dizzy all the time. do you have any of these symptoms?
how old are your children?
i am from ny. me and my husband and the kids are planning a trip to williamsburg and va beach next month. hope i'm well enough to enjoy the vaca.
hope to hear from you soon. would love to make a friend who knows my struggles first hand.

Thanks for the much needed hug!

I am sad, frustrated...not really sure the right word for my mood this morning. They weened my husband off the steroids but his symptoms came back stronger then ever after about a week of being off and so they put him back on - actually he asked to be put back on. They sent him for another round of blood tests and this time x-rays of his hands wrists and feet. He goes back to the doctors for results this Friday. My reason for feeling like I do today is because the steroids make him very snappy. I asked him a very simple question and he was nasty in his response. I know that it is the medication and try to blow it off but sometimes it just gets to you. I know that sounds trivial compared to what he is gong through. I guess I am more frustrated because of what the doctors are telling him he does not have and not what he has. We could take him up to the Mayo clinic in Jacksonville and do two days of intensive testing and find out much faster what is wrong. He is coming up with every excuse why that isnt a good idea, from insurance (which are insurance will cover) to taking time off of work (he goes to work no matter how he is feeling). Since this effects not only him but our 3 grown children (who are worried beyond belief about him) and our 9 year old (who is acting out because of not being of an age understanding what is going on) we have decided to wait till Friday to see what the doctor says and if there is no change as far as know what is wrong, do a sort of family intervention and get him to go to the Mayo Clinic before whatever this is does irreputable damage or worse.

My name is Kathleen. I have Antiphospholipid Syndrom and understand the frustration of not feeling well. I've have symptom since 1989 my doctors could not identify blood clots, miagranes, double vision and to many more to list. After may years of going to the doctor and being tried like everything was related to depression. A simple blood test came back abnormal after a trip to the emergency room. One month later I had my diagnois, and my doctor was finally listening. However,it took about a year more to get my medicine right. I know it sometimes seems like an endless journey, but keep your chin up. Remember you have friends you may have never meet praying with you. Most of all its great to have someone to listen, we are out there ready to listen. Lets Talk!!
