| A little about me: | I'm 42, and absolutely nothing about me is the same before Lyme's. I suffer from chronic long terms Lyme's Disease, with associated Illnesses in just about every organ now, neurological and muscle degeneration, anemia, and intollerable pain every second of my life. I've lost my career, everything I worked so hard for, my intelligence, my looks, and basically my entire life --so you could say, I just exist to be sick. I cannot find a doctor that understands what this disease is; not what the definition of the disease is, or an infectious disease doctor that abviously knows what Lyme's is, but one doctor that really understands what is happening to me and is willing to put in the time to help me. I get the god complex doctors or ignorant doctors that simply refuse to consider the broader picture here. Meanwhile, this disease is killing me, literally! I need a doctor, a doctor that will try to help me, that's all I ask...just one that will put aside their ego, take a little bit of time, and simply try. |
