| A little about me: | I have bipolar I, PTSD, and GAD. My therapy and recognition of all of this started when I was diagnosed at 13 with major depression after two failed suicide attempts. My depression came and went with three other major depressive episodes up to this point. All depressive episodes I have had as an adult have led to hospitalizations and were accompanied by severe mania. In 2004 I had a serious snowboarding accident, which was part of a manic episode. Three weeks later I had blood clots in both lungs. I have not been the same since.
