| A little about me: | I was diagnosed with bipolar 24 years ago and have been on more meds than I can remember. I have recently been rediagnosed 3/6/08 as BP1, Personality Disorder with Borderline, Dependent, Avoidant and Passive Aggressive Personality Traits. I still have difficulty living with it. I can clearly see the medications that set my mania off, but haven't quite figured out the life situations that do. I suffer from severe chronic pain and fibromyalgia. I also have a history of substance abuse, specifically cocaine, which I have been clean of for 3 years in July. I've been a member of an online recovery group for over 3 years, which isn't quite working for me anymore bc of skepticism about my conditions and the fact that I do use pain medications. So, I'm looking for something different, some acceptance, less cynicism. I hope to find it here. |
