MDJunction to me

Nevayda"Mdjunction Tourette Syndrome site has given me the opportunity to share my experience of raising a child with TS, with others, especially those with new diagnosis. Support is essential for families and individuals with tourette as is information. I'm glad to have the opportunity to be there. I also learn as I go as others share their experience and knowledge." A little about me: My photo's.
My Great Pride
In 1989, in the midst of a divorce, a near psychotic break, adversity from those who did not want to understand, and nothing but up-hill battles facing me, my home burned to the ground. Every scrap of memorabilia, every picture ever baby remnant ,certificates, saved report cards, memory prom dresses. Baby pictures, baby pictures, baby pictures. My friends, I truly thought I was going to die. Then I looked at my already devastated children and knew I still had work to do….get them through this… Well we did, all of us, get through it. Now, 19 years later, I am back to a healthy place. I have a beautiful home, 2 cars, 2 dogs, a cat, a hot tub, a hubby worth keeping for a while, (lol), and my children and grand children made it all possible. They were by me all the way and we worked our butts off to regain a little of what was lost of our entire lives. That’s why I brag like crazy and my pride is out of this world. With determination and just plain grit, we got it back…..and we are all so very proud!

~Mark Twain

"It is admirable for a father to take his son fishing, but there is a special place in heaven for the father who takes his daughter shopping."
~John Sinor
