My Lyme Journey
First diagnosed in 2005 put on 4 weeks of doxycyclone (spelling sorry). Never really though about the seriousnesss of it. Just dealt with everyday aches and pains. Then on my journey to figure out why I was feeling so bad, I asked my doctor to do blood work and informed my PCP that I was previously diagnosed with lymes. Blood work came back positive for lymes. Did another 4 weeks of Doxy and here I am now. New symptoms appear everyday. Falling spells, forgetfullness, irritability... It feels like something different everyday. Last night woke up a few times feeling like there were millions of needles in my hands and like I have the hugest luymp in my throat. Got an appt with a LLMD, but couldn't get in til September. So thats where I am now!!!
