MDJunction to me

TalithaCumi"MDJunction is a wonderful place, full of wonderful people. People that I have learned that I can rely on for anything that I need whenever I need it;
A hug in times of stress.
Prayer in times of crisis
Encouragement in times of doubt.
A laugh in times of sadness.
A smile in times of heartache.
Hope in times of hopelessness.
Assurance in times of fear.
A reminder of the good things in life in times of depression.
And most importantly, love when I need it the most. MDJ has become like a family to me. I have priceless friends that I will hold in my heart and love forever. MDJ is a place of safety, when I know I can be myself and that I am loved. Thank you all SO much, you mean the world to me.

My Awareness Ribbons

"I have had 2 miscarriages followed by many years of infertility. Eventually, I decided to have my tubes tied because I couldn't endure the heartache any more. I am so incredibly grateful for the two beautiful daughters that I had prior to the infertility issues... I know that there are some who aren't as fortunate and my heart breaks for them."

"As a victim of long term domestic violence, I wear this ribbon with pride knowing that I am a survivor. I also wear it for emotional abuse, chronic pain and Fibromyalgia."

"For myself and all others who struggle with mental health issues."

"Because I have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Dysthymia, anxiety and SAD."

"For my daughters, who were abused at the hands of a violent ex husband. For my mother, who had to grow up way too quickly because someone took her innocence away. For myself, a survivor of childhood molestation and multiple rapes as an adult."

"For hope... because without it, you have nothing. For suicide prevention. I have lived in that darkness and know how incredibly difficult it is to come out the other side of the emotional pain."

"For my daughters, who should never have had to endure the violence that was in our home. For those that are still too small to help themselves."

"For my grandmother, who died of heart disease. For those who are struggling with HCM. Our family has the gene but so far, I don't have signs of the condition. My children have yet to be tested."

a HugYou are special and deserve to be treated as such. Never allow anyone to tell you any different. For if they do, then they do not deserve to know you, much less have the right to call you a friend.

a HugHello, To all of my friends, group members, newbee's. Sorry, I haven't been on. My cousin passed away at age 41, we were all very sadden by this loss. Please say a prayer for my family.

Now its back to you guys. I found these quotes and I wanted to share.

Hugs Dee

Remember and I thinking about all of you and wishing you the best.

Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself

– George Bernard Shaw

I have found that if you love life, life will love you back

- Arthur Rubinstein

Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it. Because what the world needs is more people who have come alive

– Howard Thurman.

Life isn’t a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, latte in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ‘Woohoo WHAT A RIDE’!

a HugFor the month of May, I want you to all know how brave you are because of the battles you have fought within yourself and with society. You are all hero's! (Rape Forum Leader)

The hero is no braver than the ordinary man, but he is brave five minutes longer
- Ralph Waldo Emerson
