A little about me: I am a 49 yr old f with HCV genotype 1b. I started triple tx on 3/25/12 and am now at the end of wk 5. My meds are riba, interferon, victrellis. Base vl 3+ mil @4 wks <43. I hope and pray to get rid of this dragon my first time around. I believe I may have had this since 1988 from a transfusion after a c-sec. So let the battle begin. I am ready, willing and with God able.
My Awareness Ribbons
"I have HCV currently. We need to put this virus out there frontline so people walking around with it and don't know can be informed.Lord knows, I would never have known had I not had another health issue that put me in the hospital. AWARENESS is why I wear this ribbon."
