With no support in my area I searched the web for help, after two years I stumbled on to MDJ.

A little about me: I am a small town country girl. From a large family with old time values. I guess you could say we were "The Waltons" but with some bickering :)

I moved to sunny Orlando shortly after graduation. Six years later married a musician. I have two adult children. My son, whom I am very proud of, battles with autism and ADD and a wonderful daughter which I greatly appreciate.

I first found out about my husband's HEP-C in 1995, after trying to increase his life insurance policy. He tried the interferon injections, but it failed. So, many years later, partnered with drug/alcohol abuse, we find ourselves facing end-stage cirrhosis. I am thankful he now attends AA and has been sober since Jan 2010. By the way, which is also mine --out of support for him I stopped drinking the day I dropped him off at re-hab.

Especially now, I too am learning to take one day at a time.
