| A little about me: | Why I am here. I joined MDJ because I was in a low point of my bi-polar. It's based on choices I made, which triggered my depression. I am at a high then I crash because the people I thought were there for me use me, and then abandon me. I ignore the ones that are there for me and they are no longer around. It's an endless cycle. I need to be strong, so I don’t abandon my future plans and continue to succeed in life, but it’s hard with this disorder. I am here to learn more about myself from my peers and to unlearn my bad behaviors and realize that my prior decisions have made a big impact on my life and I am now in charge of my life, one day at a time. I was diagnosed with Bipolar Type II in 2010 after having my child and then diagnosed as Type I in April 2013. It's been a rough few years. Going through a divorce as well. Did not have a pleasant childhood and have a history of mental illness on my mother's side of the family; my mom, who probably had a Antisocial Personality Disorder based on her abusive, manipulative, unpredictable behavior. She committed suicide by OD on Xanax and morphine about six months after I got married and the list goes on..... |
