Bipolar disorder A gift or a curse One day up, the next day down Who knows what is worse

With the mania Comes euphoric highs With the depression Comes continual sighs

With no control Without your pills Try meditation To treat your ills

It's so selfish That I can't deny My many indiscretions I don't even try to hide

But I have no alternative But to live with the dread Of never really coping With what's in my head ..
