MDJunction to me

jaguarandcubs"MDJ is an integral part of my everyday life. Since joining in 2010, I have met so many amazing people. It is truly incredible to be able to share good times and not so good times with others who face the same health challenges. And MDJ has support groups for every condition I have. I don't know of anywhere else that can offer that. I love that I can learn from others as well as offer my own experiences for others to learn from." (jaguarandcubs)

A little about me: See I was right! In hospital Jan. 12 thru Jan 18. First time did not go into full blown ARDS, no vent. Thank you Jesus!
My brother in law passed away Jan 16, peacefully. I guess that is the best sometimes. Do not want to sound crude or uncaring, just accepting what happened.

"My brother served in Viet Nam 1967 -1969, and he had extensive exposure to Agent Orange. The first indication of the extent of the exposure was his first child not surviving birth due to multiple body organ malformations. In the early 1970's, diagnostic tools did not indicate any problems with the pregnancy which was full term. In 1980, he was diagnosed with laryngeal cancer, again the type of cancer indicated a "toxic exposure". He has lived a productive life in spite of ongoing medical problems, permanent trach. He has never "given up". has a wonderful wife, 4 beautiful daughters, 4 grandsons who adore him! Many friends and other family. He has been in the hospital this time since 2/25/2013. It has been up and down and thought he would go to rehab and then home soon. Yesterday it was back to ICU due to respiratory problems. Not looking good! He has an unwavering pride in the military! I choose to "wear this ribbon in his honor!"
