| A little about me: | I am just trying to be able to function each day. I have gone a very long time as an unmedicated and up until recent undiagnosed Bipolar. I have a very complicated family history who all suffer from serious mental illness which they deny and growing up my feelings were used against me. That if I continued to talk the way I did or felt the way I did I would be taken from school and locked away from my family. I suffered abuse at the hands of a seriously mentally ill grandmother. I am lucky to now have a supportive husband who is behind me and teaching me that seeking help is ok. That medications will help me lead a better healthier life for me and my daughters. That if this is something they will encounter I can show them they can be productive and successful in life. I have come here looking to others for support and guidance. |
