MDJunction - People Helping People

MDJunction to me

fluffyluggage"I found MDJunction at a time when I was struggling with so much. I
was so sick. I found a home, a place where people understood me, when
even my family doubted me. In MDJ, I found a place of refuge, love,
and support. I come here daily, to find my balance, to cope, and to
find that same support I've found from day 1. MDJ is my new family.
The friends I've made here will remain with me for a lifetime.

City: USA Citizen - Proud to be an American !
Occupation: Unable to work-Past Management, CSR, business owner
A little about me: Please excuse the user id -am for real and here to help others ~ I sold on Ebay earning 5000+ positive feedback from 1998-2006 but they suspended me when I got too many negatives from unplanned emergency accident which changed my life-am partially disabled as result of such-

I was always in shape, healthy, alive with energy, sports minded, very active lifestyle before such - since such both physical and mental parts of my life's taken a somewhat downward spiral.... BUT I THINK POSITIVE AS THINGS COULD BE A LOT WORSE!

I am here to help support others with my past experiences, trials, tribulations.

Maybe, too, I can pick up some pointers on how to feel better, myself.

MDJ is the only chat room I have ever participated in. I consider MDJ as a help board, support and lots of people with same situations, problems, also some fun stuff like cartoons to put smile on your face, UPLIFTING BOARDS to cheer me/you up boards.

MD Junction is nice friendly place and very helpful nice folks here....Sometimes a few bad apples as not everyone can get along- I forgive them. Life's too short to fret or hold a grudge.

MD Junction is full of awfully nice people, thanks for continued support and friendship.

I originally came here for support, for my physical ailments which mainly started in 2006 when I first became partially disabled...

...such has progressively gotten worse over time, age + now added more physical problems from weight gain and few added mental impairments (depression etc)

24/7 chronic pain is hard sometimes to stay smiling, happy on the outside. My back, hip, neck, legs, my pain pills aren't working like they should as I awaken at night, without relief in sight, am unsure of my future.....I nee pain management

OMG, joint pain can be unbearable at times, trying to compensate and take more Glucosamine Chondroitan with MSM to alleviate such added pain...Added omego 3 - fish oil and added MSM recently...

ARTHRITIS getting worse in late 50's? In last few weeks, my ankles, feet, arms are hurting in addition and headaches, too? Most of life RARELY had a headache

I've been eating less, watching salt and sugar intake. Started with STOPPING DIET SOFT DRINKS but now cut out all carbonated soda...lost 22#'s as of April 2013 this year

It's hard to / unable to exercise -I ache moreso afterwards-as well as when I overextend myself, but some things only way they will get done is to do myself

WISH LIST For Secret SANTA aka Good Samaritan locally in Southwest Florida free membership @ LOCAL Lee Memorial Hospital in downtown area's GYM OR WELLNESS CENTER_I need to lose weight, body mass fat

Going to health clinic is all I can afford; sliding scale, no less... Neurologist nor these doctors won't release me to work, even with accommodation- real depression -lack of income /money

THINK POSITIVE as things could be worse. I, like you must deal with whatever hand you are dealt aka your life brings you-Life's a challenge-NEVER GIVE UP

When feeling down, look at people worse off than you-as in just one quick moment, an unexpected accident could happen, a plane could fall out of the sky and crush you in your own home -accidents are unplanned emergencies

STRESS in everyday life's trials and tribulations is causing me to hurt more.

My version of SERENITY PRAYER-God grant me the serenity to change the things I can, not to stress out, NOT keep in mind/worry over ones that cannot.

This slow economy/recession is hitting a lot of people-such hurts in many ways

Too, I've been there, done that a lot of things in my lifetime. Learned from many mistakes - lol - maybe I can relate to your problems and help you out

Maybe I can help, if you need a friend, am a great listener-am discreet. Am good hearted people person.

I'm an extrovert, always happy or try to be. I try to have positive outlook on life.

I am a practicing Christian and believe in prayer both for good things and bad things to God. As a Christian I am not alone I have God by my side. I have faith in God by my side

I have a lot of time on my hands sometimes, other days am drained, unable to post-RECENTLY computer crashed-was without internet for almost 4 weeks; computer acts slow at times, doesn't work right either at times...sometimes I sleep a lot /weird hours.

SLEEP: Seems to be only time pain subsides

Be thankful for what you have-there's always others far worse off than you.

Be THANKFUL to be alive
THANKFUL to wake up in the morning, THANKFUL to have online computer service, THANKFUL for roof over my head,
THANKFUL to be able to walk and talk, THANKFUL for many things...

I find meditation helps relieve my physical aches and pains. Meditation in whatever form, whether getting intrigued by a good movie or tv show, reading a good book or article or listening to oldies on the radio or whatever YOU like to listen to or just plain coming here,

ANYTHING THAT GETS MY MIND OFF MY ACHES AND PAINS is a relief-

Meditation and positive thinking help improve MY and your feeling bad or for me, any MIND OVER matter does, as in meditation

I DESERVE SSI. DISABILITY SSA's disability /SSDI SSI is for those who cannot work. Chronic ailments, not ones that can be remedied or fixed.

Business owner most of my life (own store, pawn shop up north prior to moving south) and worked management, supervisory career jobs in my life. I have plenty experience in all phases retail supervisory, management, on down the s line... 55+ age is deterrent in job market as well as needing accommodation but too, incontinence, IBS, obesity - I also have no money to buy business clothes that fit-

I have a lot to be thankful to God for: I can walk, talk, get up in morning, get dressed in what little I have that fits, put on flip flops (but not shoes and socks), fix fast meal....used to be a great cook...

I get by and try not to complain...
