My Awareness Ribbons

"I have FMS, CP, Lupus, Pancreatic, SS, Raynauds, etc... For those of us who live in pain... No matter how bad our day can get, always smile and think positive. Also, every single second ahead is a new second, a new moment for us! Smile and others will smile right back! (HL) Fly Freespirited"

"My husband has Melanoma biopsies more times than we can count. My husband was not a sun-bather, nor did he ever use the tanning beds. It's from simply working outside our house, maintaining our property, mowing lawn, etc. Dose up on recommended SPF (Highest you can wear) you WILL still get some tan. Skin is our largest organ and of course the most exposed organ. Take care of your skin! Always Smile & Always think Positive! Be Happy!"

"I suffered CA growing up, I have CFS. I also of course do not wear a single ribbon for just myself. I wear ribbons to always support everyone else. No matter how rough things can get in life, just remember, Life is like a box of chocolates! Always SMILE, Be Happy & Think Positive, ALWAYS! It's a beautiful feeling when you smile and laugh! Makes our day that much nicer. Smile..."

"My maternal grandmother had breast cancer at the very age I'm at now, (47) and miraculously survived it. She had a double mastectomy. I myself have had several scares which none have turned up malignant. Thank Goddess for that. I of course wear this ribbon to support every single one of the women & some of the very rare men who are afflicted with breast cancer. Think Positive, always smile & laugh! Be Happy!"

"My dearest friends' son suffers from Autism. It's a very challenging & rather complicated disease to live with and especially care for. I give my highest compliments, as well as standing ovation to all parents who have a child afflicted with autism."

"I grew up with SA for many years. I am disowned from *entire* family. I'm okay now after years of healing. The books, "Toxic Parents" by Dr. Susan Forward & "Children that Kill" by Paul Mones are 'the books' that really made me understand I was not alone. (This realisation was back in the late 80's). Life *does* get better! Always Smile, Keep yourself busy, think positive and keep on laughing! You are the only one responsible in terms of seeing abuse ENDS with you. Children have an absolute RIGHT to have the most memorable, happy & positive memories of their childhood life!!! Smile!!!"
