MDJunction to me

mabri"When I was diagnosed about 18 months ago with fibromyalgia, I didn't know where to turn. I got on my computer and looked for a support group where I could talk to other people with the same disease and get some help...Information, suggestions, mostly just what I can do now that I have this.....disorder/disease/syndrome...I didn't even know what to call it. I found MDJ, and yes, there was a support group for fibro. I started a post, and figured I would never get an answer. However, very quickly I was welcomed in, and became really involved in the group. I received help, support, friendship and the feeling of being truly cared about by these strangers who had become like family to me. Now, I have been here for about a year and a half...I have become a group leader, and love every minute of it. It is so wonderful to be able to help others. I still receive help and answers from the members in this group. The fibromyalgia is where I go to help, support, listen, care and even laugh. I don't know what I would do without this group." I am a stay-at-home mom of three lovely little princesses (who also have congenital Lyme).

I currently the Copyeditor and writer for a local paper as well as working on a few books of my own. Nothing that pays, of course. I can't work because of this disease.

Before September of 2010, I worked very hard to build an awesome chocolate business, but had to give it up because of my "mystery illness."

So now, after being diagnosed with Autonomic Disorder and POTS, Interstitial Cystitis, and also Fibromyalgia, here I am, fighting Lyme, as that is where the answers truly lie.

I'm dealing with Lyme, Babesia, Mycoplasma, and Bartonella. I have a PICC line currently and am kicking some Lyme butt!

I found recently that I have high chemical toxicity and therefore began IV Glutathione weekly as well.

I have found that Therapeutic grade Essential Oils have been a HUGE help in my fight against Lyme, better than pharmaceuticals and other methods.

I am currently a group leader here at MDJunction. I also lead a local support group as well. I'm all for awareness!

a SaluteHi,
I read that you have autonomic dyfunction due lyme. I have similar issues and may be you could guide me. My pulse became low from 72 to 60 thus giving me high blood pressure. While sleeping my heart races from 55 beats to 140 beats waking me up. I feel my heart is enlarging and often I feel strange heart beat.

Please help me. I live in Toronto and would need names of LLMD who treat cardiac lyme.

Regards
