MDJunction to me

ThereseML"When I first came to MDJ, I was in need of peer support in dealing with issues of my childhood abuse. I was moving away from the painful issues and trying to find an uplifting group of people to help me transition to a thriver in my life. I found that here. I also found a group of peers with Fibromyalgia and found the same uplifting experience there. My computer crashed and it was a while before I found my way back, this time with issues related to Parkinson's Disease. I had tried a few other support sites before reminding myself of MDJ. On those, I never got a reply. I finally found my way back here and again found very supportive, caring and inspiring people who made me feel like I was 'back home'. Indeed I am." (ThereseML)

A little about me: I have had CFS and its associated symptoms and ailments for over 20 years and am also diagnosed with Adrenal Insufficiency and it associated issues. I am interest in any new information about these and hope to try to help and inspire others who also have them and to hopefully get some better understanding of them in the process. It has been a long tiresome and trying journey with these illnesses. Hopefully, any others who are also suffering with these, or similar illnesses will remember that is important to keep faithfully forging forward because the medical communities are developing better understandings and more empathy for them each new day, than compared to the incredulity that many afflicted with them had to endured 20 years ago. The stigmas, doubts, and lack of support and available treatments are slowly being reverse and improved. Thank God.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!

a HugHello, To all of my friends, group members, newbee's. Sorry, I haven't been on. My cousin passed away at age 41, we were all very sadden by this loss. Please say a prayer for my family.

Now its back to you guys. I found these quotes and I wanted to share.

Hugs Dee

Remember and I thinking about all of you and wishing you the best.

Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself

– George Bernard Shaw

I have found that if you love life, life will love you back

- Arthur Rubinstein

Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it. Because what the world needs is more people who have come alive

– Howard Thurman.

Life isn’t a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, latte in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ‘Woohoo WHAT A RIDE’!
