"When I first came to MDJ, I was in a very dark place, and feeling quite alone, I don't know how I found this site, but I have been very grateful ever since, all of you have offered insight to the illness of Bipolar and the other things going on with me, being here has allowed me to find friends, and to feel safe in discussing things that I would never have shared before.

She, herself, as well as her older sister were sexually abused by their father. And, when we reconnected after 36 years past our high school friendship, she read between my sentences, between my words and between my emotions. She lifted me up and held me as I fell apart. She knelt down and tenderly stroked my back when I lay curled up in a ball, sobbing uncontrollably wishing my father would stop hitting me. She loved me unconditionally. She saw what others did not and convinced me to seek counseling. As she so gently said it, "...the next time I see you, I don't want it to be at your funeral because you did not ...""	""I wear this ribbon in support of 'ALL' who suffer with a mental &/or emotional disorder.
