A little about me: reciently diagnosed with migraines. have visual aura problems. my pain is between my eyes, brow line every single day. this has been going on since birth of my son 3 months ago.

I'm only on riboflavin right now. I've never been able to tolerate side effects of meds very well. Good luck with the amitriptyline. I couldn't successfully take it. I would sleep all night & all day if I went above 10mg & the dry mouth was so bad for me that within 6 months, I had tooth decay in 14 of my teeth. I had to come off of it for that reason. It seems rare, though, so I'm sure it won't happen for you. I hope you tolerate it well & it brings you relief!

Yeah, I'm sensitive to light & noise makes my head hurt worse, too. I'm glad you had a good week last week! If it can happen once, it can happen again.

I'm just doin' the same as usual and trying my best to stay positive to get through it all. Caring for my daughter isn't so hard now that she's older (almost 4) & more independent. She gives me something good to do & brings me happiness. How old is your little one now?

Hello,
No I am not on amitripyline any more. I couldn't sleep at night. I would fall asleep right away then 1 hour or so later I would awake with a horrible migraine.So I was getting less sleep. It is weird because the 1st week it seemed to help but after that is when I was having that problem. I think because I was getting my migraines in the middle of the night instead of in the morning around 4ish...It was making it worse. I currently am on anexia and fiorcet. I guess the nero told my reg. doc that he is going to give me a nerve block shot. Have you ever had one? How did it work?
