A little about me: 6/28/11

I am a 42 year old male living in the United States. I found MDJunction while searching for information to help explain for me why it was that an ex-friend / lover of mine began to suddenly behave in an erratic, confusing and emotionally abusive manner towards me. The quality of the discourse on this site regarding BP is heads above that found on many other similar sites. I look forward to making MDJunction part of my healing process and to helping other members in any way I can by sharing with them my life experiences and the insights that those experiences have provided me with.

1/28/12:

The MDJ BP SO community has helped me do so much healing regarding my BP ex. Being a member of that community gave me the turbo boost I needed to get beyond the emotional gravity well of the pain that BP ex caused me. In recent months I have had the strength required to be able to remove from my life people and ways of thinking and acting that are not healthy for me. As a result I am starting a new healing path in my life, one upon which I am coming to terms with the fact that I may have BP II or Cyclothymia and how that fact relates to the sexual abuse that I experienced as a child.

2/9/12

I am just starting to come to terms with the fact that my ex-wife was/is co-dependent and that once she and I married I inadvertently acquired/enabled some of her negative behavioral patterns. When I met my wife I was ignorant about: the role of BP in my life and the lives of some of the people in my family and circle of friends and lovers; of the impact of alcoholism in the lives of my father and step-mother; of how my having been sexually abused had warped my perception of myself and the people around me.

I'm starting to "get it" even more. It ain't pretty but it's better than ignorance!

5/12/12

Right now my life is good and in some ways it's great!

7/11/12

Although I am not as active on MDJ as I have been in the past please feel free to contact me if you feel that I can be of help to you regarding the situation that brought you to MDJ. I wish all of you the best in your respective healing journeys. Aloha!

"I wear this ribbon for my mother and my ex-friend / lover. They both have unmedicated BP I disorders, as well as NPD."

"I am a victim of childhood sexual abuse. I choose the word "victim" over the word "survivor" because I choose to not put a happy face on evil events from my past. Separately, I am a survivor and I'll never let the bastards win. :)"

a HugYou are special and deserve to be treated as such. Never allow anyone to tell you any different. For if they do, then they do not deserve to know you, much less have the right to call you a friend.
