| A little about me: | bipolar and functioning. Choosing to focus on the positive aspects of life rather than the negative. Favorite book Atlas Shrugged Hobbies reading and fishing Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana in the 1950's, moved to the other side of the lake in 70's. Now in Southeast Texas. I love life, and find it grows better as I get older. I see the glass half full. I believe laughter is our best defense in living with bipolar disease. I believe the basic goodness of people to do the right thing. I like Frank Capra movies (It's A Wonderful Life) I think good triumphs over evil and the bad guys will eventually get what is coming to them. And I may not have a lot of control over my mood swings but, I do have control over my attitude. |

| Diary Description: | A stone soup is made by putting a clean stone in a large pot and filling it with water. A fire is started and the pot is placed over it. Each person adds a vegetable or meat or whatever they bring. It becomes a soup and the taste reflects the ingredients brought to the soup by whomever chooses to contribute. My diary is a stone soup made from the encounters both good and bad of the day. | ||
