A little about me: My names Molly but I'm more commonly known as Mole and I'm an alcoholic-addict. I went to treatment at Rosecrance on 6/5/2009. I completed treatment on 6/30/09 then went to Central Dupage Hospital where I did Outpatient from 7/14/09-7/27/09.

I'm 19 years old and student at Harper college. I'm studying to be a nurse, but in the long run I would like to be an addiction counselor and give back what was given to me. I have bipolar disorder and have struggled with quite a few manic episodes and long periods of depression. My parents were recently divorced and I have lost touch with my faith and praying that I will have the strength and support from God, my friends and family to get through this because they are my life.

Anyways, some more about just me. I don't like to let my diagnosis control my life but sometimes I do. I love reading, writing, traveling and music. My biggest Goal in life is to publish a novel. And my other goal is to Return to Bolivia. I went on a mission trip there last summer when I was going through depression and didn't put enough into it and it could have been better so I hope to stabilize my illness, return there and be able to give back all I can. I love to help others and sometimes my kindness backfires on me and I get hurt.

My physical health hasn't been very great. I was recently diagnosed with sleep apnea and I am adjusting to that. I'm considering having the lap band surgery done in the near future once my insurance benefits are processed.

other than that, I am currently living with my dad and attending meetings regularly and working with a sponsor. My faith has grown tremendously and I'm excited to wake up each morning to see what the day will bring. If you want to know more, read my posts or shoot me a message.
