| A little about me: | Married to a nice guy, but he's clueless. No kids, just furry ones. I am very creative and crafty. I love to draw, paint and throw ceramics on a wheel. I love plants and flowers. I read the almanac for fun and love a good game of scrabble. I am self-employed but my job has become a bit more physical than I can handle. I'm trying to give it one more season. I have fibromyalgia, but also RA and lupus. I am bipolar, mostly on the depressive side. I have a few friends, but most of them change the subject rather than hear about my health, husband included. My mother is older and I am her support system. She is rude and insensitive with her comments and doesn't believe in BP or FM. I was actually relieved when I found out I had lupus because then she finally accepted that I was sick. Her famous quote is "wait till you're my age and see how much pain you're in". I am kind and sensitive. Overly sensitive. I am also oppinionated though I would never intentionally insult or offend anyone. I am a good person and a good friend. I am thankful for all the support I found with this group and look to it for inspiration. |

| Diary Description: | I'm forty and falling apart my mother is driving me crazy my rhumatologist is an insensitive bitch and thinks its all in my head and my shrink sends me back to the rhumatoligist because she saw the lyrica ad on tv. my fingers swelled up so much i had to have my wedding ring cut off. i gained 30 lbs in less than 3 months. in my ever so humble oppinion, lyrica should be tested on the sales reps and drug cos who push the crap. | ||
