A little about me:

Met partner in Italy 12 years ago, after a year of weekend visits gave up my job and flat in the UK and moved over. Big love. After our two children were born, his behaviour became increasingly strange, panic attacks depression and hyperactivity, spending, driving fast, verbal abuse. He has depression and anxiety problems and takes meds but has never been formally been diagnosed with BP. About a year ago I became certain this was the problem. I really wanted to help him. He just wouldn't talk about it. Then two weeks ago I finally decided not to listen to the abuse any more and me and the kids are now in a rented apartment nearby. I am in shock that I left. In my heart I feel I cant go back though I miss the good side of him so much. I feel that I am deeply grieving. I want to save my sanity and save the kids from more suffering. He is in denial.
