| A little about me: | I have fibro, chronic fatigue, migraines, and all of the symptoms that go along with it. I believe I have had it all of my life, but it did not hinder my life (or so I thought) until I had back to back Grand Mal seizures in the middle of the night. I had the worst pain in my life after that and spent a week in the hospital, while the docs tried to figure out what went wrong. When they couldn't, they released me and told me I had epilepsy. I was put on several meds and was so sore I could not express myself. My family just thought I would be back to my old self within a few weeks and when I wasn't, they didn't understand. I expereinced severe memory loss, IBS,Migraines,swelling of the joints, coughing that would not stop,(so many other things too) and pain followed by my employer telling me he never turned in my insurance paperwork. So, I had no insurance and had gone through a very stressful divorce that was final earlier that year. The bills were so high. That's another story. But it took a year to get diagnosed (Cleveland Clinic) and a lot of Docs telling me I was just sore from the seizures. I was dating a guy who helped me through all of that and were married now...and he still wanted me. Hmmm. What a guy! I'm 37, can't work, and just trying to get through life day by day. Humor helps. Ha. |
