| A little about me: | Hi, I Live with DH every day and alone. Do You? I’m an old DH victim since 2004 and with Celiac. If it can help, read my previously discussions. I recently found that a plant called Parsnips, a type of carrot, and also too much chlorine in a pool will start a form of Dermertitis. High EMI energy coming from hydro lines, microwave or even old TV or computer screen can also affect. I know a person selling medallion to cancel those effects on him. I haven’t purchased one. A bit costly. Off the shelf products I used, can be some Benadrill, Claritin or any allergy medicine for itchy skin relief. Otherwise you need a prescription for some cream I take called Dermovate and for hair I use the Elocom Lotion and also sleeping pills. Then the Dapsone is taking my itch away within 1 hour. I take 100mg every second day, no skip. As per my dermatologist, the blisters are caused by the immune system sending antibodies to attack the proteins in the under the skin. The reason is not known and rare. The Dapsone medication is an antibacterial medication to heal our wounds. And staying away from Gluten helps the medication to do his job. Dapsone side effect are called PN peripheral neuropathy and iron deficiency. I experienced once a deep relaxation and it slowed down the antibodies that attack me for about 2 days. As said by a friend, it is not normal to not digest gluten. I am therefore turning vegetarian, and diversity in my diet. My next plan is to go out with DH people in my area.
