| A little about me: | I started to suffer from MM since the 20 years ago; however, the disorder was in remission for a good amount time and then hit me again when I became 50 yrs old. The episodes lasted two months and I was back on my feet without any problems. I continued to keep my diet of low sodium, no processed sugars, alcohol and coffee. However, as the years passed, I becaume very careless and staring drinking coffee, wine and eating foods high in sugar and other processed foods. By the 2nd week in January of 2011, I suffered a really severe vertigo attack for which I'm still have not recovered. Due to this condition it necessitated that I stop working and started on my old MM diet, when to see two ear doctors and as usual prescribed, the usual suspects, diuretics, meclizine, Valium/Xanax, low sodium diet no processed foods. Up until today, I am still struggling with dizziness, tinnitus, pressure and hearing loss. Then I found this site and have learned quite a bit from most of you. I truly thank everyone for their support and guidance. Please keep in touch and if anyone has found that miracle drug, please share it with the entire MM sufferers. Boy do we need it!  | I pray they find some answers soon...probably too late for me...but I feel so badly for people in this same situation...I also think doctors need to start thinking outside the box and stop spending so much time being accusatory, dismissive and condescending. Thanks for helping so many on here...(((Hugs)))...Good night! 1 |
