| A little about me: | I am a senior chronic pain patient who lived with domestic emotional and violent abuse for the past 8 years. about a month ago I got the courage (after yet another incident of domestic violence),to get help and moved out of the emotional prison I was living in and in a safe living environment. It will take time and professional help, but I think I will be able to overcome the many years of abuse. The abusive environment took its toll on my chronic pain status and my hope is that feeling safe and free will improve my constant body pain. Though I'm 62 I am beginning to feel I can find joy in the remaining years of my life. |
