| A little about me: | Hello! My name is Nadezda, which means hope. I had nosebleeds, anemia, allergies, asthma, and eczema growing up. When I hit 20 years old, my life completely changed. I lost my hearing and soon after I became extremely ill. Had twelve blood transfusions, multiple tests, and five major abdomen surgeries all in one year. In 2009, I had two blood transfusions and two colonoscopies. In 2011, I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. I was treated for six months with heavy medication: antibiotics, steriods, and Humira. The entire time, symptoms continued to worsen. During this time, my body wasn't obsorbing the correct nutrients it needed to keep me alive. I had five blood transfusions; diagnosed with Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT) in my GI track and liver; diagnosed with Juvenile Polyposis in my GI track (this relates to HHT); and had major abdomen surgery. I have had a total of 46 pints of blood and 6 major abdomen surgeries. I was diagnosed with synovitis arthritis in December 2011.
