A little about me: Rebirth4Love was born and raised with both parents in the household, in Central, Arkansas. She has a passion for computers (IT Technology), which lead her to help those in disadvantaged areas, underprivileged children and those at risk, especially the children and youth who have experience some type of mental or physical trauma.

She was born in a home in the east end and raised in a religious family, in the central part of Little Rock. The neighborhood was full of violence and the house she lived in, was right across from a night club called Ju Joint. The Ju Joint played music at all times of the night with shooting, fighting, cursing, people knocking at the door of her home…crying out help.

She was sexually abused as a child and verbally abused through-out her life. She was once physically abused as an adult by a stranger within the community. She always considered herself a loner from K-10 grade. Whatever traumas happen within the home it was always overlooked and later told to get over it and move on, as of today that statement remains the same.

She attended South Central Career College where she received an associate’s in Business and Computer Science.

Out of 4 of her siblings, her brother was like a twin to her, he was considered her brother, best-friend and father. This brother died in 1989, his body was found underwater for three days; newspaper read it was due to drugs selling or that he had a hit out on him. This tragic death took her three years to recover. This brother had a surviving son whose depressions of his father’s death lead him to the life of drugs before the age of 18.

She is the mother of one son, who is now 22 years old, a college student, a son whom she has kept close to her heart, and not just a son, but a friend that has uplifted her in the time of need, giving her back the seed, which she had planted within him. She always disciplined and encouraged him with the Word of God. She is very proud of her son for he exceeded her expectations. Her son was born in 1990 and she raised him in a single parent home. He was diagnosed with ADHD, but she persevered in that situation and her son has been successful through high school and college and that diagnoses and label no longer exist today.

In 1994 she attended Pulaski Technical College for Computer Repair because of all the pressures of being a single parent she had to discontinue. It was a very challenging time and she knew her child came first.

She worked for an aircraft industry as a senior planner clerk and worked on several projects with a lead supervisor, using her IT Technical skills. Her Lead Supervisor (Steve Block) challenged her to make things happen that didn’t exist, that challenge stimulated her passion more. She was able to continue her education during work time, which was approved to accomplish the task at hand, which made her an asset to the companies planning department. With God’s help she mastered every challenge before her, but at times she felt her race and sex defined her, in the sight of some of her surrounding Co-workers and Managers. (She felt this was a disadvantage for advancement). She will always be grateful to Steve Block for believing in her, giving her the opportunity to challenge her passion and opening the door to continue her education.

She married in 2000 and for the first time in her life, she had to learn not to be so independent, strong-willed, but be a submissive wife, (the adjustment was not easy for her).

She volunteered and used her IT Technology experience within the churches she attended and developed computer labs. She coordinated, schedule classes for each division and taught ages 5 – seniors. She taught her husband how to build computers and they began to work as a team.

Her marriage lasted for 4 years due to her PTSD, surgery and followed by an unseen disability, from five car accidents (not the fault of her own) which occurred between the years of 1990-2000.

In 2003 when she was discharged from her job within the Planning Department because of medical reasons, she was illegible for re-hire, as an employee exceeding all of her job duties on each and every review. (Her health became worse after a cervical bone fusion, which was preformed on the wrong side). She currently has two nerve damages one in her neck, which travels down to her right hand and one in her upper back. She practice living without stress, eating right, exercising 3-times a week and surrounds herself with positive people; otherwise the negative energy will increase her pain level with inflammation. The doctor’s final solution would be requiring a lot of medication and more surgeries. Some days are good days, some days are bad, but she is ok with taking one day at a time. (Like a lion, if she goes down, she comes up stronger than before).

2006 she was approved along with her long-term disability, from her previous job and was able to receive SSD, but in 2007 her long term disability discontinue because she voluntarily accepted the settlement due, to financial difficulties.

From 2006 to Present she has been working part-time independently under her profit organization, as Certified Professional, Virtual Services to provide clients’ customers with superior customer service.

Through all of her experiences (verbal, physical and mental abuse), she knows that our past traumas does not define who we are or dictate our destiny. Her personal relationship with God keep her “Spirit” pressing forward in a positive manner, even though at times her flesh wants to quit during her obstacles, look back with “PTSD” you can’t let it go. But with using her daily tools of prayer, fasting and talking with God; by trusting in Him only, covered by His love, standing on His promises, with her request made known to Him to get her through each day… she keeps her focus.

In 2010 she decided to start a program for internship to use her passion to help other to become more successful and have the opportunity to prove themselves in the area of IT Tech and other Virtual Admin skills to enter their desired careers.

June of 2012 her health worsens (her symptoms were: pins, needles, tingling all over the body, including stabbing feeling in the head with pressure like hemorrhaging at night, heart raced to 180). She felt as though death was around the corner, but God was calling her and wanted her to listen. God said to her… it is time to give back, the voices not heard would be heard, those in the back would come to the forefront, and those in bondage would be set free, God said we are in the now. God wanted her to listen and follow his instructions.

2012 God finally ordained her calling, under her new name “Rebirth4Love”. Through all of her adversities, God presented the question to her… “What will you do with all I’ve taught you and brought you through”. Her answer was “I owe you, because of my internal prosperity, which makes me a Kings Kid and with your power and my experiences, I now can challenge your people who mirror me, to be empowered… by knowledge and our experiences, but not be stagnated and defined by them”.

She decided to form an organization that would be a resource for all, a safe place to let go and let God, a place that would recognized the uniqueness in the in disadvantaged, underprivileged, abused and misused. Ebony Network Connection – Represents the place of resources, FB3 Refuse represents the place for survivors to learn and be empowered and FB3 Radio Broadcast is a place where the voices crying help are heard and empowered. FB3 Radio is also a place for the listeners to embrace awareness of the past and improve the lives of the children and their future, who will represent tomorrow…the days to come.
