| A little about me: | I am a person who suffers with FM, just moved from NJ to PA, was looking for people to chat with, and I found a support group, that is amazing. My main problem is my hands, sometimes, the pain is excruciating,very sensitive to the cold weather. Trying to find a doctor out here, but very difficult without insurance. Engaged to the most wonderful man, I am 55 yrs old, and finally found the love of my life! I have a 24 yr old son who is a heroin addict, he is in jail, waiting for prison. I was married for 27 yrs to a monster, took care of him for 2 yrs as he was dying of cancer, WHY" Many people had asked me, because I felt I had to do the right thing, so stress is the reason I am sick today. Just recently went to an acupuncturist, she told me before she could help with FMS CFS, first I have to come to terms with the trauma I had in my life, funny never looked at it as trauma, thought all marriages were like mine, boy was I wrong. |

"I believe too many of u suffer in pain everyday, everyone has their own story, mine is about being in pain due to fibromyalgia..some days are better than others, for those days I am grateful..being that I took the chance and just moved to PA in the mountains with my fiance, who sees me cry on my bad days, he sits with me and comforts me, but sometimes I don't think he truly understands, why should he when I don't get it either..need to find a doctor out here, which I dread, having to go thru all this nonsense again, why should we feel bad, or ashamed when we have to explain our symptoms, some doctor's just look at me, like I am crazy, when I explain the symptoms, they make me feel like a nut job! I will be proud to wear thi ribbon, to support all who suffer with this disease" |

looking 4 people to talk to, moved a week ago to PA, in the mountains, beautiful, but the cold is beating my butt, due to fibro, need to find a doctor soon. The pain in my hands have become unbearable, I have a wonderful fiance, but I don't believe he quite understands the pain I am in. Just want to talk to others with same condition, maybe can help me thru this, advice of any kind would be appreciated
