A little about me: "I had severe headaches everyday of my Jr. and Sr. yrs. of HS. Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia at the age of 22 or 23. Chronic health problems all life which includes - HBP, Depression, Obesity(addiction to food, bad, can't live without food), Dercum's Disease, all due to pain, pain related or causing pain (continuous without any periods of relief at all)Uterine cancer, cervical cancer with upper neck of vagina removed also for precautionary reasons and cancer free until April of 2010, Colonoscopy in April with polyp removed with moderate adenocarcinoma. Going to have another colonoscopy ASAP due to bleed out 9 days after the first, lost 2 or 3 units of blood and continue to have some bleeding at times, wasn't able to get the barium enema MD ordered due to dehydration and such a low blood count. Living your whole life in pain with nobody or next to nobody believing you are actually hurting as bad as you say you are is really hard to take at times, but I suck it up and try to act as normal as possible." My brother believes my lapses in memory, forgetfullness and trying to say something and totally different words come out are all due to my pain meds. He can not believe I have pain that I would not wish on my worst enemy and when I take my meds and the pain is relieved somewhat that's when the brain fog and all clear up. (Am I the only one like that?) I can't sleep due to the pain or I am woken up by the pain.(Just like last night I went to be around 2 or 2:30 AM and was awakened a little before 6 AM in severe pain and could hardly even get out of bed to get my meds.)
