Gender: Male
Birthdate: 06/23/1987
City: Merrit Island
State: Florida
Country: United States of America
Occupation: Paramedic
A little about me: 23 y/o Bipolar(severe) male.
Seroquel 200mg at night-they want me to take 100mg in the morning and 300mg at night but I haven't done that in years-it's too much and too easy to take the wrong dosage in the morning which anyone who's done it knows it will destroy your day. I can't imagine living without it-I can barely sleep without it-48 hours awake is easy without seroquel...
Lamictal 200mg at night-supposed to be 150 in the morning and 150 at night.

Other things that seem to help me:
•laughter is good medicine-I know it's a cliche but it's true. I find comedy very helpful, if I can laugh I'm feeling at least decent
•avoid being around my family for long periods of time-they are some of my triggers/avoid all triggers(once identified) as much as possible.
•stay busy, when I was unemployed for a quite a while and I tried to ride my bike every day-exercise/working releases energy exercise kept me from having nasty panic attacks
•get good sleep-very important-for everyone really but for psych patients etc
•good diet-I have eaten very healthy, maybe healthier than ever over the last 2 weeks or so and I really do feel better. There's less toxins in healthy food and more nutrients. You can eat less, feel more full, feel better physically and still have more energy in the day.....in short, changing diet had surprising effects
•video games-I'm convinced blowing stuff up and killing "bad guys", monsters or aliens in an artificial world is theraputical.
•music-I like metal/rock but preference is subjective and irrelevant-music I very usefull to me if I'm in a bad mood or need to calm down
+other things I wouldn't recomend and don't think I should list here but work for me regardless of what doctors think...
