My Hugs
![]() | Wishing you a healthy 2012 with lots of people, helping people! |
![]() | Michelle, I realize that this message is catching you a little late, but I am new to this forum and have just read your post. My name is Rick, and I have Fabry disease. I live in Alaska now but grew up in Southern California. I won't lie and tell you having Fabry disease has been easy, but I'm happy to be here and am enjoying life. There are definetely challenges having this disease, but God gets me through them and there is a reason for life challenges in my opinion. I beleive that people are inspired through seeing what I have to go through and how I carry myself through it. There is therapy out there for Fabry patients, I get it. Since I started the therapy life has been totally different, a new hope. I feel healthier then ever and now I have a two year old son that I get to enjoy life with. My mom was very supportive and compassionate towards me as a child in attempts to get me the best care possible. I would encourage you to look past disease and see the blessings that come while enduring throught the challenges it presents. Happiness, love and joy can still be found for Fabry patients even though life can be hard having it at times. Bless you Michelle, I hope all is well for you and your husband. |
![]() | BIG hug for you & yours! We wish you an amazing 2011, May all your wishes come true & all your troubles fade away. We hope that together our community will continue to prosper and help so many all over the globe. People helping people at its best ;-) |
