MDJunction to me

fluffyluggage"I found MDJunction at a time when I was struggling with so much. I
was so sick. I found a home, a place where people understood me, when
even my family doubted me. In MDJ, I found a place of refuge, love,
and support. I come here daily, to find my balance, to cope, and to
find that same support I've found from day 1. MDJ is my new family.
The friends I've made here will remain with me for a lifetime.

A little about me: I'm 34 and just finalized my divorced(2/17/11) to what was the love of my life and the mother of my children. My daughter is 8 and my son is 4 and autistic. When he was 18 mos, my wife became an alcholic, got addicted to sleeping pills and became bulimic. After a few misdiagnosis, rehab stints, a legal seperation and 5 child neglect charges she got sober and we reconciled. Things were great until last fall. She started drinking again, got diagnosed bipolar, my son got diagnosed autistic and she lost her job unfairly. She became dilusional, heard voices, and started to drink all day and night while the kids were being severly neglected. Within 1 month, the state removed the kids from the home and placed them with her family. It was 2 days after xmas. With a broken heart I filled for divorce again April 2010. She came home the day I filled to fix things. I gave her time. Then in July, she signed the kids over to the state and I restarted the divorce. I share custody with her parents. She hasnt seen them in over a year but lives 5 miles from us so she comes by to bother me and make odd demands. I use this site to deal with all the pain and memories of the years I spent with a bipolar and the mess they leave in thier trail.
