A little about me: I am 66 years young and live in Squaw Valley, CA. I have had scheuermann's Disease and Scoliosis from birth. I was 6'1" in my earlier years, and now about 5'11" and 170 lbs. Pain has been an issue for most of my life even though I stay active.

I have been investigating the possibility of surgery to fix my messed up spine since August of 2010.

I have now had surgery to fuse 15 levels of my spine, from T2 to L4 on December 21, 2010.

My Scheuermann's symptoms have all gone away. I have only the surgical pain with which I will probably have to deal with for quite some time. I hope this page will be helpful, informative and encouraging to everyone.
