MDJunction - People Helping People

MDJunction to me

jpcrps"When I found MD Junction, I was in the beginning stages of RSD/CRPS. I was scared, lacked knowledge about the condition, and felt very alone.

MD Junction changed all of that for me. I found friendship and terrific information from people who had first-hand knowledge of this syndrome. It was and still is a big part of my life.

MDJ was my first step on the journey of grief; from denial to acceptance. I am now inspired to help others by sharing this amazing site and sharing my own experiences. I am very impressed that one forum site can provide hope and inspiration to people suffering from so many different conditions. I am proud to be a part of this community.

A little about me: I am a 64 year old (young) woman. My first hubby passed away in 1988...I have recently married again (2 1/2 yrs.) I have 7 sons and 24 grandchildren and great grands. I have had HepC but recently went through therapy and have been diagnosed as UNDETECTABLE for 1 1/2 years now and they feel that I got it through blood transfusions, 24 years ago. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about 15 years ago and believe that I have it for many years before diagnosed. I also have osteoarthritis, degenerative disc disease in my spine and bursitis. Soooo, I guess you can see that I have had my share of pain. I just started taking Lyrica a week ago and have noticed quite a difference in my pain level. Thank the good Lord. My dr. called me (herself) to see how I am doing and told me that my level of Vitamin D, was extreme and put me on that and said that she felt that that way why I am experiencing so much bone pain. I am now taking a prescription of VitD for four weeks and she will check my level again til we get it where it is supposed to be.

I love to Read, Crochet, embroider and quilt. I also love to be on my computer. It is nice to meet you guys and hope to gain some information and friends here.

a HugYou are special and deserve to be treated as such. Never allow anyone to tell you any different. For if they do, then they do not deserve to know you, much less have the right to call you a friend.
