A little about me:	I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus in 1996. At that time it was just the skin now it has evolved into Central and Pheripheral Nervous System Lupus. I had a brain hemorrhage in August of this year due to the lupus. I still take care of my house-cat-husband and help run our business. I get very tired everyday but the good Lord helps me get through each and every day . I am also going to be a grandmother for the first time next year around my 50th birthday. My daughter who is pregnant may also have lupus. She is going to UCSF soon to find out. I see a wonderful Rheumatologist . She has been seeing me since I got sick. Its very hard to discuss this illness with people who don't understand because I really don't look sick. I don't like to bother my family and try to keep it to myself. I'm hoping that someone would like to talk knowing what we go through with this illness.

Mumeva....My name is Louise...I was diagnosed with Lupus in 1985...I will be turning 50 this Nov...I have been a lot with this disease and lately Dr said my kidneys are not doing that great but he also says that my Lupus is very quiet..I am just so lucky i have a husband that is very understanding...Take care...Louise

Thanks for the hug I really needed it. I have been so depressed and feeling like the fight in me was just to much to handle. I'm not one to cry easily, but I spent most of my day yesterday with a box of tissues.

hi it me again christine, theres acouple questions i would like to ask you, do you get headaches,nausea,stomach discomfort,rashes,have you ever experience a seizure, the reason im asking is because i did and also ihad gotten sick for 5 days i couldnt eat or drink anything i was so naused , but see the seizure was new to me and read that could one of the symthoms and when i went to see my doctor he says it has nothing to do with the lupus i honestly think hes wrong but than again hes the pa, im i wrong... like to hear what you think i hope im not bothering you ! thank you christine

Thanks for being the very first person to get back to me!!!! I will keep you in my prayers today and hope you feel better. By the way, I was 50 this year too. I was diagnosed in 1990 after my son's birth and some doctors suggest that post menopause I may be much better as my lupus is clearly homone related....so there is hope for us!!!!!!!

My Diary

Diary Description:	Well its the new year(2008) and my brain still gets confused. I still don't quite say my sentences right I either forget words or say the wrong words but I know what i want to say. It gets difficult when I get the headache to go along with this. Hopefully in the next few days it will get better. I'm here in California and were getting wolloped by a "huge" storm so I'm settled in for the weekend.
