|A little about me:||I am new to disease. I had always been a healthy person until now. I guess I will just have to educate myself about this chronic disease. I have been told by the rheumatologist that I probably have Sjorgens but that I also might have Lupus and/or Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease. "What difference does it make, as far as treatment?" I asked. "None," he answered, "we use the same treatments for all of them."
But I'm a fighter. I am going to find out everything I can about autoimmune diseases and try to lead as normal a life as I can.
It is so good to be able to support and have support from others that are going through the same thing!
|I have just three things to teach: simplicity, patience, compassion. These three are your greatest treasures.
|True wisdom comes to each of us when we realize how little we understand about life, ourselves, and the world around us.
|ďThe way you treat yourself sets the standard for others on how you demand to be treated. Donít settle for anything other than respect.Ē
