| A little about me: | I am 35 years old, been married for 16 yrs to an over the road truck driver. I have 2 teenagers, my son is 15 and my daughter is 14. I was diagnosed with fibro August 22, 2006. This has been the longest 14 months of my life. I had to quit working and after 4 months of not working after working since I was 15, i started back to school and now i only have 6 months left until i graduate from college. My family is having a hard time accepting the fibro and how it affects me, some family members say I am lazy and just dont want to work anymore. I think my hubby thinks the same thing but he doesnt say it to my face. I would just life to find a group of women to talk to and that knows what i am going through with this painful disease. |

My Diary
| Diary Description: | Doctor's appointment today. My doctor says he thinks i am depressed so he started me on Cymbalta 30 mg for 14 days then 60 mg after that. I asked him about filing for disability and he said he doesnt know yet if i am disabled, he said it is hard to get it on fibro which i already knew but he said he would not discourage me from filing but he recommends i file on depression and bipolar instead of fibro. He says he doesnt think there is diabetes but he says i look like i have polycystic ovarian syndrome and i said oh no i had a hysterectomy, he said thats ok you can still have PCOS. (That i did not know). He told me i can be treated, there may be no cure for depression, bipolar and fibro but he thinks i can be treated. I go back to see him in 2 weeks. | ||
