MDJunction to me

sarahtroy"There's a special place in my heart for MDJ's Bipolars dealing with Alcoholism support group. As an alcoholic in recovery, it is my safe harbor. I draw strength and hope from our Bipolar alcoholics and addicts who bravely share their experiences and courageously face our common demons. This is a special, close and safe group to explore any alcohol or drug issues. I have made many dear friends and been sustained by the love and acceptance so freely offered." (sarahtroy)

A little about me: I am a woman living my life to the fullest while balancing my bipolar illness. I am currently going back to school to get my clinical license in Social Work, and I am looking for a good part-time job which is ridiculous - does anyone have any idea how hard it is to find a job right now?!?!?!

I have a wonderful son who is almost eleven and the coolest baby brother that I claim as my own. They are the most important people in my life, they keep me striving for balance and mental health. I want my son to say, when he is all grown up, that his mom may have started out pretty messed up, but that she really pulled it together and worked hard to stay well for him, and that he's proud of her. That would be the greatest reward of all.

a HugYou are special and deserve to be treated as such. Never allow anyone to tell you any different. For if they do, then they do not deserve to know you, much less have the right to call you a friend.

a HugHello, To all of my friends, group members, newbee's. Sorry, I haven't been on. My cousin passed away at age 41, we were all very sadden by this loss. Please say a prayer for my family.

Now its back to you guys. I found these quotes and I wanted to share.

Hugs Dee

Remember and I thinking about all of you and wishing you the best.

Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself

– George Bernard Shaw

I have found that if you love life, life will love you back

- Arthur Rubinstein

Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it. Because what the world needs is more people who have come alive

– Howard Thurman.

Life isn’t a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, latte in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ‘Woohoo WHAT A RIDE’!
