MDJunction to me

mobey"MDJunction has become a lifeline to my recovery. I use this site as a daily coping tool where i can share my thoughts,my fears and ask ways to cope with living life with a illness. I also found new friends here and they have restore my faith in humanity. People everywhere come here to share same problems or solutions to problems we encounter in our lives. MDjunction is a wonderful site and has help not only myself but also my family and friends. I recommend this site to anyone who thinks they are alone dealing with an illness and also to those who have love ones who suffer from illnesses. I will keep spreading the word about MDJunction to organizations who deals with illnesses that would benefit having MDjunction as a support system.Bottom line is.. A little about me: I have not been on in a while but I am back and returning after a two year hiatus.
My issues are being bipolar, fibromyalgia,
RA, chronic migraine headaches. I now take a large cocktail of medications that include: Neurontin, Klonopin, Effexor XR,
Norco, MS Cotin, Imitrex PRN, Estradiol, and Risperdone. I know it seems like a lot of medication but for the first time in years I feel like my old self (almost).
I have been off work for almost one year now. I had a nervous breakdown and was hospitalized my employer fired me for missing too much time. Yes I should have sued but I was so depressed I couldn't even begin to try to figure out the paper work. I still receive unemployment though so that has helped. I am also in the process of applying for disability. I find out soon if I get it or not. I feel like I could go back top work maybe part-time but I am not sure.
I ended up moving back in with my husband but I have my own room. it's not been the easiest situation but the best for my 9 year old. My husband is visually impaired and my son has had two open heart surgery's. So I am so happy to finally be feeling better. I can now be more proactive with my family. I never stopped doing what I should do to get through the day to day but I know I need to do more.
I look forward to meeting new friends because that is the one thing I lack. I am such a loner. i feel if I could meet people going through somewhat similar situation that would help even more.
Hope to meet you.

Rachel
