A little about me: I am 21 years old, I have 2 brothers, a 19 year old and a five year old (Bret) who is autistic. He is the sweetest little boys in the whole world. Even though Bret is not MY child, he is a huge part of my life (both my brothers are). We have gone through so much with Bret, since he was about a day old he has had lots of medical problems but I feel very blessed that God did not take him from us.

I am just looking for other people learning to deal with this... or trying to deal with it because it can be hard sometimes but whenever I see Bret smile it's worth it.

hay guess what i have a surprise.you know we want to raise autism awareness as well get same attention and much needed help.soo i got the number to the american international toy fair in NY they donate toys as they know how important play is for a child. Right! well where better to ask for help for our children,brother,sister ect they a company that caters to children.anyway,i also have the phone # to Hasbro,Toys R US and wal-marts main e-mail.corp.just now at another desk anyway,ill get them to you then you can call even after hours and leave a message.i said on my message that i have a son on the a spec and if you are trying to help familys that have a hard time why are we left out just because you dont see us does not mean we do not exist.same the same thing just reword.whatever,lets just try a new way as for years saying here wew are here we are has not helped so far so lets go right to the kiddy companies:)

Hi. I'm Claudette. Your brother made me think of my son at that age. He's 8 now. Back at age 4 and younger everyone notice how cute and happy he was all the time. He still is and is doing great now despite his diagnoses. The greatest support and hope we have sometimes is knowing we're not alone, and neither are they. He's very blessed to have a loving and supportive sister and family in his life. He needs that more than anything. Have a wonderful week!
