Blog: The Ribbons and I
A little about me: I am a survivor of so much wearing just "A Ribbon" does not display it all . I am a veteran, survivor of 3 tours Desert Storm but loss hearing in roadside bombing and spinal damage, and came home with cancer ... the cancer has traveled to numerous places easier to say where it's not been....
due to surgery on brain for pituitary and brain cancer I have surgical bi-polar . Friends often ask how I can stay so positive and smiling, they don't see me when i'm in hopital for bipolar mania and I have my moments but for the most part I think and act positive. I am a fighter and refuse to die , while I am still living. I am looking true friends hopefully some closeby. Want friends that can accept me as i am ,for that is all i will ever be...ME. you can find me and more @ http://www.youtube.com/ihearyourhands. I have a video there "when a ribbon was just a ribbon" you should check out.
I love any water activity...fishing on river or ocean, sitting on the sands of nearby ocean, sand between my toes and wind&sun on my face...
I teach martial arts to underpriveleged kids and women, I volounteer as a counselor at a nonprofit counseling center. I am 21 yrs sober in AA and sponsor 5 other people . I like motorcycle riding and dragracing...but most of all I like spending time with special friends and special people in real life and such as on here where there is love , support and acceptance.
Peace,love,and sandy-feet,
Wild
